The Director-General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), Brigadier-General Paul Seidu Tanye-Kulono, on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, led a team to inspect the ongoing rehabilitation works on the Mankoadze Roundabout to Harbour Roundabout road.

The road had recently deteriorated to a critical state, becoming nearly impassable and a major cause of traffic congestion. In response to numerous appeals from the motoring public and stakeholders within the Port community, GPHA took swift action by commissioning Messrs. P.A. Engineering Limited under a Certificate of Emergency to carry out restoration works within a 16-day timeline.

This intervention forms part of a joint Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative between GPHA and the contractor, with GPHA providing the necessary construction materials and P.A. Engineering supplying the required equipment for the project.
