The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority has honoured the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo with a beautiful trophy touting his insightful leadership for the port and maritime industry.

The special award was conferred on President Akufo-Addo by the African Port Award (APA) Foundation in Accra ahead of the 39th Council & Conference of Ports Management Association of West and Central Africa (PMAWCA). The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia received the award on behalf of the President.
And during his recent engagement with CEOs of within the Tema enclave at the GPHA headquarters, the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority recognized the contribution of the President for the introduction of policies including the paperless system which has brought efficiency in the port industry.
The trophy in the form of a miniature vessel was accompanied by a brief but expressive citation which read “H.E. NANA ADDO DANKWA AKUFO-ADDO, PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC. With compliments from Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority on your Strategic leadership for port efficiency”.
